Our Story…

Spinning Plates was founded by me, Danielle Thompson, based on my background in business, logistics, marketing and creative through my corporate career and then extensive experience with small businesses since the conception of Spinning Plates Business Support in 2014.


For 8 years I ran Spinning Plates on my own, I worked hard on building the customer base and reputation of Spinning Plates organically, concentrated on developing my skills and extending my training until I was confident and experienced with website builders, tech platforms, email marketing systems and social media management. However, after 8 years the business had reached capacity and I started to take on team members to support with client work… that is how the Spinning Plates Business Support Service was created.

Since then, the Spinning Plates Business Services team has grown to enable us to meet all of our client expectations and to continue to offer first class service to all of our clients old and new. We are able to offer a full Virtual Assistant (VA) service focussing on administration and organisation; an Online Business Manager (OBM) service that supports developing strategy and actionable plans for meeting business goals and a Social Media Management Service.
